Miguel Moscardó is Moscardo’s founding partner. Previously he was partner at J&A Garrigues were he globally headed the Dispute Resolution and IP teams. He has been appointed Secretary-General of the board of directors of diverse companies such as Volvo Car España SA, Laboratorios Boiron SA and Jaguar Land Rover Iberia SA. Miguel Moscardó acts as arbitrator, counsel or expert in all types of international and domestic commercial arbitrations. He is registered as a qualified lawyer at Madrid’s Bar Association since 1978.
Miguel Moscardó is Moscardó’s founding partner. He is a renowned professional in the legal profession with extensive litigation and arbitration experience. He was the Global Managing Partner of the Arbitration and Litigation Department at J&A Garrigues, a leading law firm of national and international relevance where he worked for more than 25 years. At J&A Garrigues he also directed the Intellectual Property, Industrial and New Technologies Department.
Miguel Moscardó has served as counsel and co-counsel, arbitrator and secretary in more than a hundred domestic and international commercial arbitration proceedings in different jurisdictions and under different legal systems including Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, USA, Morocco, UK, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Colombia, Mauritania, Perú and Bolivia among others. He has also acted in investment arbitration proceedings. Miguel Moscardó serves as arbitrator of the Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Court of Arbitration of Madrid, the Spanish Court of Arbitration, the Civil and Commercial Court of Arbitration (CIMA), the European Arbitration Association, the Hispano-Moroccan Court of Arbitration, the Court of Arbitration of Madrid’s Bar Association, the Court of Arbitration of the Chamber of Commerce of Bilbao, the Sports Court of Arbitration of the Spanish Olympic Committee, the Court of Arbitration of the Chamber of Commerce of Lima (Perú); and other administrative institutions. In addition, he is also an expert in the resolution of conflicts of domain names of the Conflictos.ES Resolution Centre Provider of the Chamber of Commerce of Spain, accredited by Red.ES. He is also a permanent arbitrator of the Committee of Experts on the Sports and Entertainment Industry of the European Arbitration Association.
Throughout his professional career, he has acted as counsel in hundreds of judicial proceedings in civil and commercial matters, criminal and administrative litigation. He has also provided regular advice on contractual, civil and commercial matters.
